A very sad day

I had to have one of my labradors put to sleep yesterday. She was 13 years old and her name was Ria. She was a very very gentle girl and wouldn't hurt a fly. In the end her heart just gave out and she was finding it hard to breathe, we decided it would be better for her to let her go.
I awoke during the night and I couldn't get back to sleep because I was so upset and I got up this morning and she wasn't there lying in her usual place, that set me off again.
I console myself that she has had a wonderful life, she was the apple of my eye and got most of her own way lol lol.
I will never forget her, she was a wonderful friend to me and my family and it was a priviledge to have known her for thirteen years.

Inside of Easter card

This is the inside of the card.....using the Cricut machine, the for you letters from the Jasmine cartridge in lower case.....the flowers are from the George cartridge. I coloured using souffle pens.

Another Easter Card

Here is another easter card using my new cricut machine. I used the yellow gingham paper from the springtime cd, the Willow Cottage framey.

I used the George cartridge in my Cricut machine for the flowers, tag and letters. I also used souffle pens for the dots on the flowers etc.

Craft Fair

We have a small craft fair today......I haven't got much time to chat yet because I haven't even started to get ready....Willow has already gone early this morning but I'm not going until lunch time.......I wanted to take my Mum with us but she has got the flue and still feels listless ........I will let you know how we got on when I come home.
Well I'm back from the fair and we did extremely well..our cd's really do well at fairs, we take the lap top with us to show people how to use the cd.
I have eventually done it..I have bought a cricut machine...I am a bit too tired at the moment to play although I have had a go....I will let you know how I go on.

Easter Card

My first Easter card.

I have read Willow's blog and she has used some of the new papers I have been designing, she told me it was sooooo unprofessional to use them and she has done it......well all I can say is what's good for the goose and all that.

Easter Cards

I was going to try my hand at a waterfall card but Willow has decided she is going to make one.....so......I am going to make some easter cards....I am going to make a selection in lovely spring colours....that will keep me quiet for a couple of days, in between I am designing backing papers.......if I had my way I would give you a little taste of what they are going to be like, I have no patience you see, but Willow won't let me..so that's that, she says it's not professional. I sometimes wonder who is the mother and who is the daughter.
Oh I forgot we have got a fair this weekend, just a small one, so I have got some things to do for that as well. Better get on then hadn't I.

Pyramid box and card

Here is the pyramid box as promised......this box had a little stick pushed through the holes at the top to close it but I thought it would be more feminine to close it with ribbon.
