New cd Papers

This is what I have been concentrating on for the past couple of days, these are some of the papers to go onto our new cd. Some of them are basic papers which are dots, stripes, checks the other papers are taken from Willow's original drawings, put onto the computer and made into backing papers. Some of them are taken from her stamp designs. There are patchwork tea bag papers which can be used as shown or they can be made up with all of the same pattern showing, if that makes sense, I will show them made up differently when I photograph the other coloured designs. There are also some atc backing papers with frames to match, even if you don't do atc's they will be useful made up as toppers for cards or useful as small frames for scrapbooking.

Friends Pop up Card

This is the card I have made using the spring ATC, I have never made one of these cards before so it was trial and error really, the little pop up's could have done with being a little bit biggar, but you have to be careful that you don't make them too big because they will stick out of the card when it is closed.
I used my cricut, of course, the Walk in my Garden cartridge, and bits and pieces from Willow Designs. Also my souffle pens......I love them at the moment.
I tell you what I have just bought......a rounded corner punch which is great for your ATC's the small or medium size is best for them, I bought a medium and large size and they punch through pretty heavy card as well.

Another ATC

Here is the other ATC that I made yesterday. I used the frame and picture that I used on my Mothers day card , put it onto the computer and made it smaller, the hearts are made using the George cartridge in my cricut machine, coloured with crystal laquers and glittered.

I am hoping to get a card made using the springtime ATC today, in between everything else I have to do.

ATC cards

I am going to try and incorporate this ATC into a card tomorrow, I bought some ready made A6 cards, I don't normally buy ready made cards I generally cut and fold them myself, but I thought I'd try them. I printed our logo onto the back which took me forever to get in the right place, I hate doing it. I am going to have to have the card horizontal because the ATC is the wrong shape for it vertically.
I have also done another ATC which I've named Romance, I tried to photograph it but the light was going so I will do it tomorrow.
My desk is a mess again, I try to keep it tidy but I can't, I get over excited when I get an idea and tidiness goes out of the window lol lol.

Spring ATC's in the snow

I had decided to make some spring atc's today..when I got up this morning the weather was appalling to say the least, anyway I have done one atc, called spring, and it was blizzarding outside. Might get another one done later ....it won't be a spring one.

This Spring ATC was made using shapes from Walk in my Garden, coloured with souffle pens, everything else from Willow Designs.

Mothers Day

We have been to my daughters today for a Mother's Day buffet, we took my Mum also our 2 nephews Lewis on the left and Alex.
They were no bother at all, we had some of my Mum's homemade pie, there was also spring rolls, sausage rolls, all kinds of dips, prawns ,cakes, strawberries, crisps, chicken curry, lasagne, you name it we have had it.
I got my card and every now and again my daughter buys me a trinket to add to my collection and that's what I got today.
All in all it has been a lovely day, one to keep in my memory as very special.

My card to my Mother

This is my card to my Mother, to me it is very special because my daughter has drawn and painted these images, I just put it onto the computer and made the frame and backing paper. I love the colours they are rather feminine and pretty just what was need for a Mother's Day card. Most of all to tell my Mum I love her very much.
